MessengerDiscovery is a great add-on for Windows Live Messenger. At first glance, it could seem similar to Messenger Plus!, because it also adds several new features to your Live Messenger, but this is more comprehensive and has some really interesting features.
Messenger Discovery Live integrates with Windows Live Messenger seamlessly; it can even change your messenger color. It allows you to change anything in the messenger, either in appearance or functioning.
It is only compatible with Windows Live Messenger. If you have a different MSN Messenger, you must download the version 2.1.
This program brings to you funny features such as Contact imitation, which repeats what your contacts write, as a parrot. Multisession (polygamy), you can use as many Messenger sessions as you want. Remove the buttons that you do not use often in your contacts window and advertising and search bar elimination options, to expand your visual field. Mouse shortcuts, you can move the mouse in a specific direction while keeping down the middle button and it performs the action that you have pre-configured. Webcam screenshots captures images from your contact’s webcam. Status Manager, which allows you to change your status to "online from a mobile device” or “online from web messenger". Nicks history, and Received files Manager.
Its Contact Manager detects the contacts who have deleted you from their contacts list, the contacts you've deleted from your list and those that are online or offline. Also, it allows you to know the IM version they are using, the messages you have sent and received to every one of them, and their personal message. It also allows you to know when a contact is online and when was the last time it was, to delete contacts, to steal your contacts’ avatars or open a chat window.
The options about messages include delete or display the "XXX is typing ..." and "XXX is recording an audio clip ..." messages. Turn off the window flashing on your taskbar when somebody writes you a message. Spelling checker. Adjust the space between the sent and received messages. Capitalize all the text (sent and received). Select the text font to see your contact’s messages. Activate messages storage while you're busy or absent, in order to receive them later or when you decide. Emoticons protection to prevent its stealing from your contacts. Eliminate the period time between ringing.
MessengerDiscovery also has several security options, such as protection against web links (disabling the direct clicking), protection against massive messages (flooding), options to block winks, emoticons, voice messages and invitations (for running applications, games, start a video or voice call ...).
This is a very comprehensive add-on, with so many features that it is impossible to describe them all. If you're a Messenger Live frequent user, do not forget to try it.
